MILWAUKEE, WI – Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) will hold the 14th Annual Beyond Design Bike Tour (BDBT) at the Concord House in Sullivan, WI on September 20, 2018. Over 400 business leaders and community partners will put on their helmets to ride in support of the EUA Foundation and this year’s charities: Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and Food for Thought Initiative.
Each year, the BDBT raises funds through sponsorships by EUA’s business partners as well as the contributions raised by individual riders. Over the past 13 years, the ride has netted over $660,000 in charitable giving. This year’s goal is to raise $100,000 to benefit our local charities working to fight hunger in our communities:
“These charities work to fight hunger every day in the communities we work in and serve and are a great fit as the recipients for this year’s ride as well as with the overall goals of the Eppstein Uhen Foundation,” says EUA President Rich Tennessen. “We truly appreciate the continued support from our valued business partners and sponsors who continually demonstrate their commitment to making a difference in our communities.”
The route will begin and end at the Concord House and the cyclists have the option to ride a 20-, 37-, 67- or 100-mile route. Rest areas will be located along the route to keep cyclists energized and a post-ride event will be held at the Concord House offering dinner, drinks and networking to participants. For full ride details visit http://www.eua.com/bdbt.
The 14th annual Beyond Design Bike Tour (BDBT) is made possible in part by the contributions of valued business partner sponsors. The BDBT is a fundraising / networking event run by the Eppstein Uhen Foundation. This 501(c)(3) charity foundation is focused on improving the quality of life in local communities. Since its inception, the foundation and EUA have donated time and dollars to approximately 100 nonprofit local organizations.
Special thanks to the 50+ Major, Contributing and Participating Sponsors. Many of these sponsors have supported the ride during all 14 years of the BDBT’s existence.
