The school lays on the fractal character of the district of “El Carmen”. The historical center, with an irregular and condensed urban pattern typical from the XIII century, is combined with the increase of public space. Besides,as a reminiscence of the gothic past of the district, the school is meant to be a “calling” point, just as the cathedral or the central market, with their singular roofs. A new symbol for the district is settled claiming the attention that culture and education deserve.
