Elif Köklü is an Istanbul based Landscape Architect and MSc Urban Designer. She is recently continuing her PhD in Landscape Architecture at Istanbul Technical University. She is interested in examining the transformations of socio-ecological cycles, the interaction of ecosystems and individuals’ experiences with them. Her current research focuses on socio-ecological systems in urban areas in the context of urban agriculture, aiming to support food security and social resilience in urban areas. She is currently working at Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Urban Ecological Systems Directorate in Productive Landscapes Department.
