We took Symrise’s existing 20,000 SF divided between two floors and consolidated it to create a streamlined, non-hierarchial set of flexible offices onto one single floor.  We created a large open space with only seven private offices – five for perfumers and two for executives.  Clear glass office fronts visually integrate private offices into the overall space, while low partitions on the 30 centralized and personalized workstations encourage collaboration and accelerate decision making. Small breakout spaces and a large dividable conference room makes for great event space as well as small focus spaces. The new space is open and egalitarian, with a modern, energetic design that promotes social interaction.
