Working at a small, residential focused firm in Atlanta, I was able to fully
engage and participate in the entire design process, working on projects
from the preliminary stages to final. I interacted with clients on a daily basis to
offer recommendations for house modifications. Leading the collaboration
between our Marketing team and 3D Rendering partners, I was able to meet
project deadlines in an efficient and timely manner using primarily AutoCAD.
Theatrical Outfit, Atlanta, GA, US, Production/Set Design and Marketing Intern
Assisted in the creation and design of the art direction and elements for
productions in order to bring the Director’s vision to life. Not only do I assist in
the design for actual productions but also receive critique and mentorship for
potential production in order to grow as a designer and to build my portfolio.
Graphic Design and Branding Intern, Atlanta, GA, US, Graphic Design and Branding Intern
Provided graphic design support online through Instagram in order to market
and brand GladiatHers events in a unified manner that still supported the
look of the brand. All designs communicated the brand in the most efficient,
creative, and on brand way as possible while still meeting project deadlines
using the Adobe Creative Suite.
Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), Athens, GR, Greece and Italy Study Abroad Program
Participated in a college-wide program that introduces students to art,
sculpture, and architecture in various cities throughout Italy and Greece. All
instruction took place on archaeological sites, museums, and walking tours.
Drama Tech at Georgia Tech, Atlanta, GA, US, Assistant Set Designer
Assisted in the creation of production elements for Georgia Tech’s production
of Midsummer Night’s Dream. I also, participated in the construction of
elements that the actor’s would be using and helped create the most
efficient process that would allow everything to be completed.
Macgregor Associates Architects, Vinings, GA, US, Architecture Intern
Worked closely with the Principle Architect of the firm to recreate past
projects in order to learn current architectural standards and codes in Revit,
while also gaining industry and BIM experience with the Revit software. Also
assisted in the design documents for current projects while contributing to the
construction administration process. When time allowed I assisted other
project architects with project red lines and learned the basics of Lumion.
