This performance stage was a pro bono community service design-build project for Green Acres Garden in Brooklyn, New York. Out of 3 proposed ideas, ours was selected to be built for the garden. Our team, guided by Drew Seskunas, developed a concept, presented the idea to the garden and constructed it on site. We came up with a design that mimicked a flower petal for the stage backdrop to be designed out of recycled aluminum. A Corten steel bench with planters sits at the base of the stage. A net was added to the back and the stage was positioned under a mulberry tree to catch falling berries.
