Hello all,
My name is Corey Vaillancourt, I am a resident of Lincoln Park, NJ in Northern New Jersey. I graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business and Technology from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, where I also was a goalie on the nationally ranked Division 3 lacrosse team all for fours of school, winning the Coaches Award for leadership on and off the field as a senior in 2008. After working for Consolidated Edison, who runs all of the electricity in the 5 boroughs of New York City, until 2009 I decided I wanted to go back to school to get my Master in Architect, which I started at University of Nevada Las Vegas in August of 2010.
After completely 2 full years of my Masters at UNLV, I came to the realization that before I become a professional/licensed Architect I wanted to serve my Country in its time of need, which is why I am currently preparing to take the Air Force Officer Qualifications Test (AFOQT) in March and will be heading to OTS in May/June of 2015. Although I am preparing for a stint in the military, I want to continue my growth in the field of Architecture. Especially in the field of Sports Architecture, because I can personally attribute my life as an athlete to the person I have become now, and I want to design facilities of all kinds to help the next generation grow in the same way.

Along with the requirements of a Business degree (i.e., marketing, finance, accounting, etc.), there is a strong technology presence in the studies as each Business and technology student must complete the core engineering courses such as Physics, Biotechnology, and chemistry, etc.
