About

Chunxin Yu received her Master of Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design in June, 2022. Previously, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art from Oberlin College. She transitioned to pursue architecture with an ambition of creating socially responsible space from an intimate perspective. Her academic projects investigate the interactive and experiential nature of public architecture and its dialogue with the natural and urban landscape. She is fascinated by the reciprocal relationship between thinking and making, and she is confident with both hands-on and digital drawing, modeling, and rendering. During initial professional experiences, she participated and grew enthusiasm in urban research, projects for social welfare and exhibition design.
