Built on a narrow site on the beachfront at the Jersey Shore, the house is entered through a covered porch with an outdoor fireplace. The three-story residence places living, dining and kitchen on the first floor. All levels are connected by a main hall with a well that allows light to infiltrate from a rooftop cupola to the ground floor. A beautiful multi-collored stained glass window, along the north wall of the house allows northern light into the stair.
The second floor has a master bedroom, a den, and four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The attic has a play room and an additional master bedroom. All cabinets, including closets, are built-in. The house is powered efficiently by geothermal energy. A lap pool, built on the south side of the house, takes advantage of the warmth of the sun. All levels take full advantage of the splendid views of the Atlantic Ocean.
