I am seeking a long term, senior project manager role in a mid to large sized firm. I have over 25 years of experience in a variety of architectural market sectors including aviation, mixed use, high rise, education, and institutional. I have a strong base of experience in construction administration in both on site and in office roles. I am experienced in client relations and approach that role with a commitment to listening intently to ownership to help them best
express their goals for their projects. Asking questions and keeping a team in motion during all phases of design and drawing development through permitting and construction are two tools that I utilize daily to keep projects on a successful track to completion. I am approachable and
able to collaborate with fellow team members, consultants, contractors, and permitting authorities with a steady disposition and a problem-solving mindset.
With regards to proficiency with today’s tools for this role, I have skill in Revit such that I can open drawings, manipulate views, check consultant coordination, and review the general progress of the model as required. I am well versed in AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, MS Office programs, MS Project, Newforma, and Deltek (accounting and timesheet review software).
As for my most recent experience, I have been involved with both large and medium sized projects in a project management role. My intent was to remain at this firm for the rest of my career but an unexpected downsizing due to Covid led to most of the firm being released as there was nowhere near enough work to sustain a staff of the size that the firm employed. I am very eager to get back to the process of helping clients realize their visions and look forward to speaking with you about opportunities at your firm.
