Chelsey started her career at Benjamin Moore Corporate office in New Jersey, as a Project Manager in Retail, leading and managing projects, creatively, from the initial client briefing through design packages, surveying, documentation, coordination with clients and contractors, and on-site supervision. Prior to Benjamin Moore, she had the opportunity to work for one of the most well-known Architecture firms, Gensler, in their New York Retail Studio, for 1 year as a co-op program. Through various opportunities, she discovered her passion for projects with a lifestyle focus in Entertainment and Retail. Not long after she found herself returning to Gensler, New York in 2018 as a Designer in Retail where she was able to bring her experiential design prowess to several projects. While working at Gensler, she contributed to and led the design of world-renown retail flagships, mixed use centers, cruise ships, and F&B and entertainment. She worked with some of the most challenging clients and consistently goes beyond what is required to deliver, providing a positive impact. Chelsey's projects deliver holistic experiences based on storytelling, brand, and the human connection to a brand. As a foundation to all design challenges, she use strategic thinking backed by research and trend analysis. She has a positive attitude and embraces new opportunities and challenges that are presented to her, to further grow and develop, to become the best designer she can be.



Gensler, New York, NY, US, Designer

Prepared, coordinated and produced documents through all phases of design for various high-profile retail projects, including planning, schematic design and development, high quality renderings, FF&E specification and construction documentation, artwork, and lighting.

-Lead Designer and Job Captain for Global Banking, NYC Flagship Main Branch and Employee Branch through all phases of design.

-Received high recognition from the client, exceeding expectations due to high quality design and deliverables, resulting in additional project work.

-Conducted programming efforts such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishing and equipment, lighting and material coordination.

-Mentored and directed onboarding colleagues to the project.

-Produced high quality realistic renderings and VR panoramic views.

-Participated in client meetings reviewing project status on a weekly basis; prepared client presentations.

-Lead Designer for all projects; developed and designed numerous retail stores and F&B Restaurants for Oasis of the Seas and other confidential cruise ships.

-Managed and redesigned over 150 retail stores from start to finish, including several high-profile accounts.

-Responsible for designing layouts, reviewing drawings and project submittals, communicating and coordinating with clients, vendors and contractors, related to daily business operations.

-Collaborated with the sales team on all new entrepreneur stores, including development of standardized processes and design.

-Facilitated a high-profile project collaborating withan outside vendor to re-design the D&D building and 200 Lexington Ave showrooms. Responsibilities included site survey, concept design, schematic design and development, high quality renderings, furniture and finishes, and documentation.

-Coordinated projects to ensure accurate preparation of floor plan layouts, including communication with, and coordination of the preparation of documents with the client, contractors and vendors.

-Fostered a collaborative leadership style, placing value on relationships, both internal and external, as well as ensure high-quality design.
