Hello, My name is Charles Fredrick Happel IV. I am a 2014 graduate of New York City College of Technology's architecture program. While attending school, I was recruited to work for a licensed practicing engineer working primarily on facade repairs and site safety planning. Following that position, I gained experience working in architectural firms focused around residential design. I am highly proficient in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Revit, Rhino, ComCheck, REScheck Grasshopper, Google Sketch-Up, the Adobe Suite, as well as video editing/rendering software such as Lumion & V-Ray. I also have a background in digital fabrication with the use of laser cutters, 3D Printers, etc.

My designs and fabricated models were presented for the Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams at Brooklyn Borough Hall. This event was listed in the AIA Calendar of events, as well as on the front page of the Brooklyn Eagle Newspaper. On a separate occasion, I also presented my designs for the Brooklyn Borough Trustees, which includes the highest appointed positions in the New York City Education system. I have served as a guest critic judging student designs during their final presentations on numerous occasions & have recently been selected to design an upcoming renovation to the Saint Catherine's academy in the Bronx. I was also briefly involved in the 2015 Solar Decathlon, a global competition that accepts only 20 schools world wide.
