For this project our team researched the facade on the Siemens HQ Masdar City building, that consist of aluminum panels with a reflective coating. During our research we soon learned that the panels were critical to the buildings energy performance. The panels allowed for maximum natural light to enter the building while also benefiting from heat gain/loss.
