Patio da Maritima is a new business complex in development
for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as part of the Porta Maravilha revitilization
master plan. The project was designed by Norman Foster & Partner with RAF Arquitectura acting as the architect of record.

I was responsible for the development
of the full building exterior wall and mock-up BIM models, the
diagramming and analysis of panel types, and for coordinating
the 3D models into 2D construction documents.
The full building model was a central components within two
exterior wall bid sets, and helped to illustrate constructability
issues at critical assembly transition areas. The model passed
collision analyis tests within acceptable tolerances and furthered
collaboration with the metal and exterior wall fabricators.
Subsequent BIM models helped to establish the scope for
both visual and performance mock-ups in Rio De Janiero and
Buenos Aires respectively.
