C-re-a.i.d.: -Change -REsearch -Architecture -Innovation -Design is a Tanzanian and Belgian registered non-profit organization, active since 2012, that explores the possibilities of architecture within the goal of poverty reduction. This research is conducted by means of design, fieldwork, construction, empowering local craftsmen and receiving students of architecture and engineering.

Our future vision is a place where people can be creatively inspired within a handreach to apply affordable and sustainable way of building. Architecture is not only material change, but a culturally sensitive and social change. Architectural interventions can have an impact on several factors which, in turn, has a direct impact on poverty. Through our groundwork projects, conducted in the villages of Tanzania, we research and promote the possibilities of architecture.
