KTGY, Oakland, CA, US, Associate - Junior Architectural Designer

At KTGY, a residential, US-based, architecture firm, I progressed from working on large-scale (200+ units), low-density residential developments in the great basin area of the United States, to large-scale, mid-density townhomes in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this time, I followed projects from schematic design through construction, gained experience with creating and approving complete construction document packages, and corresponded with city officials on the approval of schematic packages.

Community Assessment of Renewable Energy & Sustainability (CARES), Berkeley, CA, US, Graphic Designer, Workshop Coordinator

The CARES (Community Assessment of Renewable Energy and Sustainability) foundation is a multidisciplinary team of researchers set on integrating technology, design, community, and sustainability. In my time at CARES, the team partnered with members of the Pinoleville Pomo Nation (PPN), a Native American tribe based in Ukiah, California. Community meetings were conducted with the PPN, and a platform for participatory design was created, allowing members to actively comment on and assess entries for an architectural competition as entries were being designed.
