I'm a New Orleans based architect most known for my ability to transform old houses into modern pieces of livable architectural works. My designs have been described as thoughtful, intentional and personal. Most of my design surrounds the concept of placing a modern twist on architecture in the Historic areas of New Orleans. However, I also enjoy the challenge of new, custom homes that take the idea of the individual homeowner and realize their design dreams right into their living spaces.
Outside of architecture itself, I'm most motivated to create wonderful and passion-filled conversations about architecture with my clients in order to design spaces we love. Originally trained as a musician, I went on to get my MArch and officially secured my licensure as an architect while living in New Orleans. Brad Michael Architecture seeks to combine the elements of harmony, rhythm, and pattern, the same elements that give us our most cherished songs, in New Orleans, a place that has combined my love for both music and art.
