About

My name is Benjamin Feiger and I am a recent graduate of Tulane University’s Masters of Architecture program.

During my time at Tulane, I participated in the URBANbuild program in which a team of students design and build a prototypical home in New Orleans. The selected scheme was authored by my partner and I and was chosen over six other proposals for construction. This program gave me an opportunity to develop a project from concept through construction. I gained experience in schematic and design development as well as construction documentation. Also, as a part of the build team, I was exposed to different fabrication techniques.

I have experience in digital, wood, metal and concrete fabrication and have worked on projects that utilize these methods at different scales. I have had onsite construction experience and I have worked as a designer, project manager and estimator on a number of residential and commercial projects in the Chicagoland area. I have strong conceptual design skills and am always open to new ways of learning and working. I am experienced with building materials and systems, schematic and design development and construction documentation and management.

I work well with a team and understand the importance of communication and collaboration. I have extensive experience with a broad range of design software including AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, Vectorworks, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper and  the Adobe Suite. I’m high energy and enjoy creative spaces and look forward to working on new projects of all shapes and sizes with any number of problems waiting to be solved.
