My name is Beatriz Vazquez, I am a first-generation Mexican-American architectural designer. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2021 and since then I've had the opportunity to work in both large and small firms. While working at Ware Malcomb I designed a variety of large-scale commercial projects in the United States, Mexico, and China. Some of my work there included life science buildings, warehouses, offices, parking structures, and office renovations. Recently I worked with the firms ORA and ASAP, which includes single family houses, hospitality, restaurants, and small coffee/tea shops. I have experience in every phase of the design process including completing construction documents, submitting for plan check for both the city of Los Angeles and the County of Los Angeles, and construction administration during construction. Currently I am preparing to take the architecture licensing exams and illustrating for an expert witness’s book.
