I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture in 2009, and after a year and a half working as an intern architect I joined the marketing team of an architecture office, a position better suited to my abilities. My background in architecture, love of graphic design, and ability to stay organized while working on multiple projects have helped me to excel in my current marketing position.
In my current position, I work closely with the partners and senior staff to collect materials for and organize proposal submissions. As Marketing Associate, I helped to streamline the proposal process by creating an InDesign template, which the marketing staff has been trained to use. I also update our website with new images and content and recently collaborated with our web designer and marketing director to create a new website landing page that resulted in a dramatic increase in traffic. I have learned a great deal and have grown as both a designer and a leader in my current position.
