A new Animal Resource Center for the Jacksonville Humane Society is under construction. The new shelter and adoption center will be 43,260 sq. ft.with animal housing and public spaces on the ground level and administrative functions on the second floor.  The Animal Resource Center will join the agency's Community Animal Hospital, previously designed by Bacon Group.

Full service animal hospital serves the Jacksonville community were basic animal health care is provided and spay and neuter surgeries are performed to reduce animal over population. The hospital is 6,505 sq. ft..
