About

Over the past 15 years I have worked with firms having strengths in both design and construction. My interests in the design and construction of architecture started while studying at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. I became aware in the rich history of craftsmanship that is visible in many of the historic buildings in the city. I took a hands-on approach to design and construction by working for a well known woodworker (Tadao Arimoto) and spending a year in after graduation coordinating a design-build course which provided custom furniture for a space at a gallery called The Center of Contemporary Craft.

In Los Angles, I started my architectural career at David Jay Flood Architect. That opportunity led to others here I have developed skills in managing the design and construction of projects in Los Angeles. At Alloi Architecture + Construction I had the opportunity to be the site supervisor on unique residential and commercial projects. With an awareness of good design and knowledge of construction techniques, I was able to manage construction with an eye for an elegant finished product.
