About

My name is Ashlie Heilbrun. I received my Master of Architecture May 2013 and Bachelor of Science in Architecture May 2012 from Andrews University. I am seeking an internship or entry-level opportunity where I can enhance my knowledge and understanding of the field. Through my academic background and my relevant work experience, I feel very qualified for any architectural internship or entry-level position.
I am a dedicated and hardworking individual who is very passionate about design that enhances the experience of the people who use the buildings and spaces we create. I have a sincere desire to gain hands-on experience in a real world environment. Through my hard work and strong communication skills paired with a proficiency in 3D modeling using Revit, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, drafting, sketching, and Microsoft Office Programs I would be a good fit for a variety of architectural firms.
I have worked in an office setting since I was thirteen years old and I have gained valuable experience through those experiences. On top of working in various administrative office positions, I have also gained experience working in an architectural firm working as a student intern for the last semester of my Masters year. The knowledge that I gained from working for a firm was immense. One of the main experiences I have taken with me is the experience working with clients. It was a great opportunity for me to have the chance to still be enrolled in school full time and in replacement of typical courses I was able to gain practical knowledge to help prepare me for the real working world.
