About

Color has always fascinated me. I am like a child that has found a secret treasure when I am in the midst of artistic expression in any form. I was brought up on cartoons from the golden period of animation and still can spend all day with them. On completing high school in India, the thought about venturing into arts did cross my mind, but instead decided to go with the flow of the times and be adopted into the technology family. I think I knew I was not cut out to be a science geek but it took me a while to figure out that I needed art to be an integral part of my life. In the meanwhile I gathered some useful skills by way of an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and a graduate degree in Computer Science. Destiny brought me to Portland, OR, and one trip to the Art Institute of Portland got me all enthused to pursue my passion, a career in the field of animation. I have enjoyed learning to create different worlds using my 3d modeling skills as well as giving them life by way of lighting/texturing them and look forward to continue doing this in my professional life.
