I have a masters degree from Dessau Institute of Architecture, Germany and many years of professional experience both in Armenia and Germany. Recently I have been working in the Berlin based Studio "Gnädinger Architekten" where I was exposed to different aspects of architectural projects. Working with teams I guided projects through different development phases and met the challenges presented to me. The whole process was full of new unfolding ideas, that had to be refined and solved in detail. Recently, working on an artist in residence project in Træna, Norway, I learned about designing and building processes and how to use material to find forms.
My aim is to explore how technology can assist to build sustainable architecture within a given context. I believe it is crucial to push the conventional boundaries, but also to be aware of the intelligence of local conventional architecture.
