Mr. Carstens led a five Architect design team to generate a Network World Broadcasting and Operations Center. The 2-Story, 268,000sf, $45 Million building included a thirty acre site with complete site and building security systems exceeding those of a maximum-security level.  The 24 hour, broadcasting is achieved on 48 channels with a long row of nine-meter satellite dishes and more than 20 three-meter dishes.  The facilities include off-grid internal utilities and support functions to ensure the broadcasts operate for extended periods, while also under severe weather.
