The semester project for a course in Building Information Modeling is to select a building that is about 2,500 sf with two floor levels, build a 3D model in Revit and to generate construction drawings and renderings. The building that was chosen for the project is Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye in Poissy, France. The result of this exercise did not only make me realize the intricate relationship between architectural innovation and BIM technology but also the ingenious insight of Le Corbusier's manifesto of a new architecture.
