Barcelona 1940

The city experienced strong growth following the Cerda Plan. This plan proposes an urban enlargement that organizes the territory of Barcelona from the Llobregat river to the Besos river.

Looking more deeply we find what I’ve called “Incomplete Blocks”. which are examples of the juxtaposition of frames. They are the conceptual basis for this project.
