The purpose of this project was to design a weather observatory utilizing a selected site on Philadelphia University campus. The site is located towards the far corner of the Ravenhill Recreation Field, where sunlight acts of the observatory at critical points in the day. The position of the observatory on the site towards the trees, reduces noise and naturally cools the building for its inhabitants. The design was planned around the concept of being as least invasive to the field, but spatially functional.
