My previous work experience at Sowinski Sullivan Architects shaped me as a designer who can work on projects across scales. Working on the projects such as Amtrak’s Penn Coach Yard I developed a cost-effective Master Plan that efficiently phased stages from 2021 – 2050 to address immediate improvements, while keeping the yard operational. I was tasked in developing an Existing Condition report and Master Plan which involved collecting data and conducting on site interviews with employees who were on site daily. During this project, communication with our team of engineers and architects from JMT, as well as urban designers from FXCollaborative were essential to create consistent, high quality deliverables to the client.
The past two summers I've been working part-time for a SSA as helping them update project brochures with polished renders, drawings, and text descriptions. This catalogue of work is categorized into different types of projects, so that it can be easily accessible when pursuing new work. Working remotely with others to insure a standardized template for these brochures, to maintain an effective and efficient marketing strategy for the firm.
