M. Arch candidate at Thomas Jefferson University.
For my thesis, I am investigating the relationships between the autism community, and the built environment. I am proposing a multigenerational, multi-family “live, work, play” facility: Full Spectrum Housing. This full spectrum housing will provide spaces and resources for the neurodivergent and their neurotypical families to form a solid community and support system, while utilizing design strategies that create empathetic design solutions. I’m excited to use this knowledge to promote inclusive designs within the field of architecture during my professional practice.
My undergrad focused on woodworking and furniture design, with additional classes in interior design and engineering. I'm also interested in interior design, stage/set design, and product design.
Career goals include, becoming a licensed architect (working on projects that incorporate public spaces, human wellness, and sustainability), and becoming a city planner.
