My name is Allan Smithson and I am a UK based construction professional with over 16 years of experience in the UK construction industry, 14 of which for a RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice.

I am hoping to relocate to the United States, and am beginning to start the process of seeking employment and investigate if any firms would be willing to sponsor me through a VISA application.

My current role is as a practice BIM Manager, a role that I have fulfilled for the last five years. It has been a challenging role and one that I am deeply passionate about. I display a good level of expertise in ARCHICAD, which is something that I am continually trying to improve and supplement through increased understanding of other BIM related software and processes, and how they interoperate.

I believe that my educational background in Architectural Technology, along with my professional experience and specialism expertise in BIM workflows across numerous software packages would make me an excellent candidate for any vacancies.
