I am Alexandra Cosio, a designer with a passion for discovery and learning outside my comfort zone, connecting with nature and finding authenticity in the simple things. I was born and raised in Lima - Peru, a country where people find joy in the simplest moments like enjoying a sunset.
I have always been attracted to the unpredictable experiences, the moments that come suddenly and surprise you. The fact that a space awakens curiosity and generates so many emotions and memories is indescribable. This is why I am convinced that design changes lives and have a huge impact on communities and environments.
My inspiration is mostly based on social connections and my aspiring career field is commercial, as it is very broad and allows to create moments and experiences through the design of spaces where people spend their daily lives, focusing community facilities. My goal as a graduate interior designer is conserve nature by crafting innovative, manageable and sustainable solutions and to create functional and healthy spaces that support diversity and different cultural
backgrounds around the globe.

At Allula Design Group, I had the opportunity to work hand in hand with architects and contractors to make high end residential projects a reality.
My role was based on creating and designing 2d spaces (plans, sections and elevations) in AutoCAD to be able to present designs to the client, also material boards and presentations. Once the design was approved, I was in charge of making shop drawings for construction and making sure they were correctly built and ready to be installed. Coordination and creativity were factors that I used every day at Allula Design Group.
