Hi!

I am Alberto Alonso, young and well trained architect from Madrid looking for new work experience abroad. This past year I finished my Master studies in Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Since then, I have been collaborating with interior design studios, and creating my own brand as an architect.

During my degree studies I played special attention to 3d modelling and digital drawing techniques (I am attaching examples of my work at the portfolio).  During my studies, I had the opportunity to develop this modelling techniques in a design studio (Domus Architectura) where I worked mainly in offices and housing refurbishment, modelling 3d spaces, furniture, and interior design.  Autocad, Rhino, Vray, Grasshopper, and Adobe creative family programmes are mostly the software I frequently use, apart from Revit and 3d Studio Max, which I am still acquiring some practise.

This past year, I have worked in collaboration with some partners, to create our own design brand (Terrario Arquitectura - @terrario_arch), focusing on ephemeral architecture, and urban interventions contests. We took part in festivals like “Experimenta Pontevedra” (Galicia, June 2018), “Calle Lavapies” (Madrid, June 2019) or “Festival Paraiso” (Madrid, July 2019). Thanks to this experience we managed to get published in Architectural Digest Spain. At the same time, I have been working on an interior design office in Madrid, operating as a freelance worker mostly with housing and restoration facilities, doing viability studies, budget lines, and also 3D images of the proposals.

As a professional I am looking to expand my horizons, and get experience in new fields. I am always dedicated to my work, kind of perfectionist, which likes to get the best results when timing allows. Because of that, I am always looking for new projects and challenges that fill myself professionally.  I considered myself, a creative person, fast learner with good graphic drawing quality.

I would be very excited to be part of your architecture team as the next step in my career, and keep learning from other professional’s skills and experience. I currently live in Madrid, but I am looking for moving abroad in the upcoming months.
