K. Norman Berry Associates Architects PLLC, Louisville, KY, US, Architecture Intern

I worked as an architectural intern over winter break for KNB Architecture. I assisted in building design, drawing/document prep, detailing, and planning. During my experience I was given extensive training in rendering software’s such as Revit and AutoCad. Perhaps the most important projects I worked on were sustainable design projects like Harmony and the renovation of the Speed Art Museum to accommodate for the Picasso to Pollock exhibit. I value this experience very highly because I was able to explore work related to my interest.

I was given multiple opportunities to travel to project sites and field verify at multiple stages of design. Projects consisted mostly of Healthcare, Commercial, and Renovations.
