Employment

Design and develop residential projects for clients, overseeing all aspects of project from original design and architectural development to construction document development and site supervision. Develop drawings and create computerized 3D renderings for client approval and implement latest Building Information Modeling though Revit Architecture. Create all construction documents, including material specification, millwork and stonework, fixtures and built-in elements, detailing, and lighting. Coordinate with builder, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure all specifications are met. Work closely with clients, communicating clearly as to progress on each stage of project.
• Developed and executed presentation and delivered project involving 2 layout options for a housing development (75 ft x 40 ft lots) using Revit Architecture 2013.
• Orchestrated architectural oversight of renovation of 2,700 sq ft home in Mexico City, including 860 sq ft addition.
• Executed interior design project involving 3,800 sq ft home, including millwork, stonework, and cabinet design, as well as lighting and furnishings.

Project Architect (2006–2012)
Orchestrated conceptual design and full lifecycle development of residential projects, ensuring strict alignment with client requirements and expectations, as well as original sketches from Principal Architect. Developed floor plans, sections, elevations, and other details via Auto Cad or Revit, and produced construction documents detailing, choosing, and specifying materials and fixtures, as well as lighting. Supervised drafters in construction document production. Designed and prepared shop drawings for millwork, cabinetry, and stonework. Secured approval on all deliverables from Principal Architect and clients. Oversaw all aspects of construction phase, visiting site daily to ensure proper execution of design. Coordinated with Structural Engineer on production of structural drawings, as well as with Interior and Landscape Architects. Ensured client satisfaction, making adjustments to finished product as required. Reviewed payment arrangements and construction schedules.

Major Projects
• Rivercrest Residence, Houston, Texas: 20,150 sq ft residence plus 1,900 sq ft pool house (3.4 acre property) with timber and masonry construction, and exposed beam roof structure.
o Delivered 3-year project on time and within budget, achieving top level of customer satisfaction.
• Magnolias Residence, Monterrey, Mexico: 14,500 sq ft residence (0.7 acre property), with masonry construction system and exposed wood beams.
o Coordinated and aligned execution of architectural design with landscape and interior design projects.

Design Architect (2003–2006)
Led small design team in all aspects of production of presentation drawings and 3D renderings for wide range of residential, commercial, and civic projects. Worked in collaboration with Principal Architect to create original concepts for various architectural projects, translating rough sketches into computerized architectural drawings. Coordinated with outside consultants, including structural and mechanical engineers, in production of construction documents. Provided hands-on supervision of construction site.

Major Projects
• Cerrada de la Luz Housing Development, Mexico City, Mexico: Development of 12 houses, each 2,600 sq ft (7 acre property).

Interior Architect (2001–2003)
Developed and defined furniture layouts to enhance and complement architectural projects. Designed all millwork and cabinetry, including closets, vanities, bars, wine cellars, and entertainment centers. Created stonework, bathroom, stairs, and flooring designs. Inserted decorative elements to improve overall effect. Oversaw fabrication processes. Developed and executed lighting concepts, working with architect and builder to coordinate details.

Major Projects
• Haciendas Residence, Mexico: 15,400 sq ft residence.
o Delivered high-end drawings to meet client needs, and oversaw fabrication of all interior stonework and cabinetry, as well as furniture selection/placement.
