Collaborate and manage projects in all phases of Architectural Design (Schematic, Development, and Construction Documents) for the construction of various building types (Residential, Commercial, Institutional, etc.) by using technical, representational, analytical and managerial skills.
Comprehensive experience in programming, diagramming, sketching, drafting, 2-D/3-D rendering, model making, as well as in Zoning and Building Code analysis.
Responsible for the development of Architectural and Structural construction documents, as well as for their coordination with other trades, in order to ensure design accuracy and diligent delivery of Projects.
Assisted with the Bidding and Quotation process by responding to RFI’s and other requests from potential contractors and vendors to ensure the accuracy of the Bid Set.
Coordinate and communicate regularly with the Principals, clients, construction managers, consultants, contractors, expediters, and team members regarding the status of projects, for the clarification and coordination of any relevant issue, in order to facilitate the design, approval, and construction of a project.
Design working drawings and prepare specifications for projects as deemed necessary.
Interpret design concepts, translate them into feasible construction systems, and if necessary develop and evaluate alternative solutions.
Identify objectives, formulate options and establish priorities while maintaining full control over the quality of projects.
Synchronize and lead the work of Architecture and design staff to ensure the production and completion of work in a timely manner.
Oversee, direct team members and organize the execution of multiple simultaneous projects.
Perform a variety of architectural staff level duties as needed and depending on the scope of the project, such as: Surveying for the preparation of drawings, Site visits for the observation and progress of work, and other managerial and administrative tasks.
Assist with the review Contractor’s Submittals, such as: Shop Drawings, product data and material samples.
