A studio project that targeted the social, economical, and educational issues that is occurring in the struggling rural town of Jefferson, NY. Discovered the town was an island, between two underground water sources. Developed a new aquaponic systems through bodies of terracing waters to serve as aesthetic community features, a new marketplace and financial opportunities for the residents. Created a new school typology that is respectful to the original landscape.
Designed a recycling center with two partners, that is itself a sustainable building for the community.
Elected manager for the studio project by the professor and peers.
Project was chosen for CityWorks, the school’s best magazine of the best works.
