A Comprehensive and Integrated Building Analysis in terms of Building Code and Regulations, Materials and Methods, and Revit.

Objectives

- To evaluate an existing building in relation to the building codes, the materials and methods by using Revit to illustrate the findings.

- Through the building analysis determine potential building upgrades and make recommendations regarding code and life safety and its materials and methods through the use of Revit.

- To demonstrate an understanding of key methods and elements used in the building and exhibit the proper use of terminology when discussing the facility.

- To demonstrate an understanding of the use of Revit in a group setting and how it contributes to the building information process now being implemented throughout the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry.
