APD Engineering & Architecture has managed the ALDI prototype program since 2008 including the ALDI Prototype drawings, Specifications, and Civil Design Guidelines.

The Regional Architect for many ALDI divisions, APD has completed countless new, expansion, retro-fit & remodel ALDI locations each year since 2008. APD is responsible for consulting on matters concerning project schedule/tracking, contracts, design and permitting issues. They provide the production of construction documents, generate specifications and perform code research.

During this tenure, they’ve lead and assisted with countless research and prototype development initiatives. APD is also responsible for communicating prototype drawings, specifications, and design requirement updates to regional architects across the country, while maintaining consistency throughout the ALDI building program.
