Richmond’s first boutique lifestyle hotel is an upscale getaway for visitors and popular destination for locals. Built in 1916, the building originally housed a luxury dry goods store. 3north preserved the original structure using state and federal historic tax credits to provide a backdrop for more contemporary uses. The hotel features 70 guest rooms, four penthouse suites, a restaurant and rooftop bar. Additionally, 3north designed the adjoining Quirk Gallery. Defining architectural features were left exposed and sleek, minimalist fixtures were selected to provide a striking, yet deferential backdrop for the Gallery's eclectic exhibits.
