The son of an acclaimed Iranian cinematographer, Sam immigrated from Tehran to Toronto in 1999. He found work as a graphic designer and quickly moved to a senior position at a local post-production house. Finding time between deadlines, Sam created his photoblog—�Daily Dose of Imagery—�which quickly gained notoriety in cyberspace, as well as being featured in The Toronto Star, Spacing, CBC Radio 3, and BBC. Sam was recently selected as Toronto's number one Blog in 2004 by NOW magazine, won best Photography of a blog at the 2005 Bloggies, and was chosen the Best Photoblog in the 2005 Photobloggies.
