We have an open position for a Project Architect.  This position will entail working on all phases of a new midtown Manhattan hotel.  Prospective candidates must be upbeat, creative, self-motivated, well organized, careful, thorough and productive and have excellent graphic, writing and verbal skills. Qualified candidates should have 5-8 years of experience, a professional architectural degree, an excellent knowledge of CAD, and an ability to use MS Office and Project Management tools. Licensure and LEED AP is preferred.  Experience with REVIT is required.

 Prior experience shall include:

  1. Effective leadership and communication;
  2. Excellent knowledge of architectural materials, systems and details;
  3. Good design and graphic skills;
  4. Experience as a Project Architect in all project phases working under the direction of the Project Manager for:

a.Planning and administering the project;

b.Meeting the Project budget;

c.Preparing the project for bidding;

d.Coordinating with consultants;

e.Guiding the project staff;

f.     Writing meeting minutes;

g.     Meeting with the client as appropriate;

h.Meeting with the engineers and other consultants to develop and coordinate the building systems;

 i.     Participating in Construction Administration.
