1100 Architect provides architectural design, programming, space analysis, interior design, and master planning services to public and private clients. The firm works around the world and in different markets, including educational, cultural, commercial, residential, and civic.

We are seeking a motivated and creative Junior Architect/Designer to join our team.

 Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design team to develop creative concepts and solutions for projects. 
  • Understand project objectives and translate ideas and technical details into creating engaging visuals for presentations materials including renderings, diagrams, and graphics, to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Support project teams and assist in the creation of architectural designs, drawings, and renderings;
  • Conduct research on materials, building codes, zoning laws, and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Utilize organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, be passionate about delivering excellence, and possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong design, visualization, and technical skills;
  • Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution;
  • 1 to 4 years of work experience in Architectural firms;
  • Proficiency using Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite required; and strong skills using Rhino and Enscape preferred;
  • Agility and flexibility - must be a team player that can handle multiple tasks;
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
