Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Job Captains with strong technical skills in Revit to contribute to our diverse range of projects. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in transforming conceptual designs into detailed construction documents, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive working documents by transforming initial design concepts into AutoCAD and Revit formats.
Create detailed 3D models in Revit based on sketches, specifications, and engineering data.
Collaborate with design professionals and project stakeholders throughout the modeling and coordination processes.
Generate standard details and trade-specific families within Revit.
Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and designs to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards.
Engage with clients and consultants to refine plans and specifications.
Lead and mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Facilitate communication among project teams, including engineers, construction teams, and regulatory authorities.
Assist the project manager with construction administration, including the preparation of RFIs and submittal responses.
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
Demonstrated technical proficiency and attention to detail.
Strong teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members.
Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in architectural and interior detailing, with experience in space planning and hand sketching.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Knowledge of building codes, energy compliance, and ADA regulations.
Familiarity with industry standards and practices.
Architectural license is not required; support for obtaining licensure will be provided.
Strong client service orientation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
