Located on the North Fork of Long Island, Kramer + deConciliis Architecture offers the ideal setting for anyone interested in dynamic communities, outdoor year-round recreation, and a high quality of life.  We design high end custom single family homes, with a modern interpretation of the local vernacular.   We seek a self-directed yet collaborative architect with a minimum of 3 years experience in design and technical development of single family residential projects. This position serves as a part of the firm’s team, and plays a significant role in the firm.  Candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects, juggle various tasks and work effectively.  

Qualifications:

• Design Excellence
• The ideal candidate has experience working with high-end residential projects and/or high levels of detail
• 3 or more years of post Bachelor's or Masters professional experience in architecture or design with a focus on modern residential projects
• Understand design intent and goals for successful implementation
• Experience and or interest in sustainable systems, materials and assemblies - wood framing construction knowledge preferred
• Experience with BIM workflow and Vectorworks preferred - will train
• Technical interest and ability: comfortable assisting with construction documentation and permitting, under the supervision of more experienced architects.
• Passive House or LEED Accredited Professional a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Possess leadership strengths with the interest in career growth

Salary and Benefits:  Annual salary ranges depending on experience, skill level, and ability to self-direct. The hiring range for this position varies,  based upon relevant experience, design skills and communication and presentation skills.  Additional benefits include medical insurance, retirement plan, holidays, vacation, and PTO.  Our office environment is casual, supportive and collaborative.
