Oliver Cope Architect LLC is a high-end residential architecture firm that has been designing one-of-a- kind residences for individuals and families since 1988. We pride ourselves in our ability to deliver carefully detailed homes in a variety of architectural styles from traditional to contemporary to meet the unique needs and wishes of our clients. Our office is approximately twenty professionals. This size makes for a collaborative and dynamic office. 

Oliver Cope Architect is currently seeking a candidate for Intermediate Architectural Designer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to become a team member on exciting high-budget projects as varied as new home construction, existing home renovations, NYC apartment and townhouse renovations.

The ideal candidate has experience with:

• Working as a member of a team under a Project Manager.
• Creating Construction Documents / Technical Drawings / Schedules in coordination with project team.
• Shop Drawing review and experience reviewing and trapping errors and/or omissions on Construction Documents.
• 3D Modeling and Rendering.
• Architectural product and material research.
• Coordination of structural, mechanical, and other systems.
• Engagement in all phases of a project from Schematic Design to Construction Administration.

Job Requirements:

• B. Arch or M. Arch Degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years’ experience with significant exposure to residential architecture.
• Proficiency with relevant computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be highly organized.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Schedule

We currently offer a hybrid work schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day WFH.
