Though we are a small office, our work ranges from large-scale building projects to adaptive re-use of commercial structures, to new high-end residences and additions and commercial tenant improvements.  

Our award-winning designs have been built up and down the East Coast, from Massachusetts to Florida. Our friendly, hard-working studio cultivates an academic atmosphere by maintaining the practice of architecture as an art and science. Our design process utilizes all methods of visual communication through hand sketching, physical model-making, and 3d modeling.

Windigo supports its staff in professional development by helping interns complete their licensure requirements through IDP mentorship and reimbursement of costs for passed exams. Job Overview: Intern Architect

Windigo Architecture & Design LLC is in search of a highly motivated, creative, and self-driven individual with 0-2 years of professional architectural experience. We are currently in the process of building our team of creative professionals to meet the demands of our expanding portfolio. Candidate must be comfortable in a supportive role focused on design and production. If you are seeking a great opportunity to begin your professional career in Architecture or a change, and a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge in the profession, then Windigo could be your next move.

Candidate will:

• Assist with the development of design concepts for a given project.
• Work alongside other design team members in the production of design presentations
• Assist in the selection of finishes, materials, FFE
• Assist in the production of Construction Documents and Specifications
• Attend client, consultant and contractor meetings

Minimum Qualifications:

• B-Arch or M-Arch professional degree
• Proficiency in Revit a must. Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop are also required.
• Have the confidence to work independently on specific tasks.
• Experience in most phases of design and construction a plus
• Ability to multitask.
• Basic knowledge of materials and construction detailing.
• Must be meticulous and well organized and have a high standard for one’s own work.
• Honed sense of design, composition, and proportion.
• Can communicate ideas clearly through hand drawing.
• Thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Valid US work authorization and fluency in English is required.
