PROJECT ARCHITECT

We are seeking a talented and passionate architect to join the Plan One/Architects team. As an architect, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting project types and collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals across the state. With our company's commitment to innovation and efficient design, this is a fantastic opportunity for an architect looking to make a difference in the world through their work.  

Responsibilities:

  • Must have the ability to maintain multiple projects concurrently from design through construction administration. 
  • Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences and requirements.
  • Create architectural construction documents, and 3D models.
  • Develop and present design proposals to clients and obtain their approval.
  • Research and select appropriate building materials and systems that align with the project's objectives.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that the project is executed smoothly.
  • Conduct on-site visits to monitor the progress of construction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in architecture to provide innovative design solutions.

Requirements:

  • Architecture License in good standing
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Design Specifications is a plus. 
  • Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED certification is a plus.
