Freelance – Designer/ Draftsperson - Retail Design/Architecture Experience

ANTEFIXE USA LLC is seeking a freelance Intermediate designer for our New York City office to assist with production of construction drawings through all design phases on a project-to-project basis.

We would like to develop a long-term relationship with candidate to help throughout the year working as an independent contractor.

Qualifications:

• Professional Architecture Degree required (B.Arch or M.Arch)
• 6+ years of relative post-grad experience
• High level of experience in boutique commercial design
• High Proficiency in AutoCAD required. Sheet set manager experience a plus
• Excellent knowledge of Building Code, jurisdictional requirements, and accessibility requirements
• Excellent knowledge of interior construction methods, assemblies, and architectural graphic standards
• Production of construction documents with a strong sensitivity to design
• Understanding of construction detailing methods and material specifications
• Quality control and ensure high standards of deliverables
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Able to adapt to shifting schedules while meeting deadlines and maintaining project quality
• Self-motivated, proactive, and can take ownership of assignments, to meet project deadlines
• Must be located in the New York Metropolitan Area
